Halal food taster

I know that this year Hajj had been something else as it reminds us of deaths.  May their souls been blessed!! And may our every journey through life would be blessed by Allah SWT.

Assalamualaikum :D I always craved for Malaysian food during my stays in Ankara but I knew it was impossible so any rice meals would be a better option. I found one at Bizim Lokanta, a small restaurant located near my new hostel in Kizilay. Interesting enough that it became m y most frequently visited restaurant in Turkey so I had a special memory with it! There was many other menu selection. All the meals were with reasonable prices. The alleyway in front of the restaurant. The grilled chickens which attracted me to come here! Grilled chicken with rice (7.50TL) The portion of the chicken and rice was very comparable! This is because it was uncommon for Turks to eat rice. Fyi the rice was not too sticky compared than that at Oktay Lokantasi . The cafe opens everyday from 9am-11pm but till 12am for Fridays and Saturdays. This is quite rare because most cafes close on Mondays. The counter and also the cashier. You need to make an order first, then the staff there would give a pager that would ring once the order is prepared. Assalamualaikum :D I went to Uranos Sarikaya, a cave restaurant at Kapadokya. I had a four course meal for lunch there.   The restaurant was huge!! There were a lot of carvings on the wall. The restaurant would be packed with groups of tourists so early reservation is encouraged. The eating area. The whirling dervishes (Turkish dance) wall carvings. The kitchen. The starter of the meal was corbalar. It was kinda bean soup but it tasted very good especially when I dipped bread into it. The chef there served some traditional stew from a claypot. Rice with the stew from the claypot. The stew was a mixed of meat, boiled potatoes and paprika. Delicious. Thumbs up! Salata. It was a typical Turkish salad. Baklava for dessert. This man played this instrument while the customers were dining. Everything cost me about 20TL. A must restaurant to go in Kapadokya! Recommended!! Uranos Rest
