Tappers Cafe @ Dataran Pahlawan

Image
Assalamualaikum :D Hanging out at Dataran Pahlawan sometimes left me undecided for what to eat there. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of cafes or restaurants there. It's just that I always want to try something new or something more satisfying. Hehe :D Then I found Tappers Cafe, a new eatery which served both western cuisines and local cuisines based on the influence of Hainanese food. The cafe is owned by Papa Kok Cafe Sdn Bhd and is Halal certified by Jakim.  (The worker there shew me the certificate) It was a two-floor cafe. The concept of the cafe was inspired from Malaysia's colonial heritage so  it's interior was a bit classy and modern. The inside eating area of the 1st floor. The cakes or tarts selection. Outside eating area of the 1st floor. I really fall in love with the interior here! What it looked like at 2nd floor. The magnificent view of A Famosa and other historical buildings from the cafe.

Assalamualaikum :D The coconut ice cream phenomenon created an uproar in Malaysia since last year. Sankaya is an authentic Thai street dessert which been served on a fresh coconut husk. Now Sangkaya ice cream kiosk is available at Dataran Pahlawan.  The kiosk. Love the cute caption :D The coconut husks for the servings. The price list. I ordered the signature coconut ice cream,  the one that served on coconut husk.  There were also coconut shake and  tea flavored ice cream or known as cha yen. The toppings which includes sweet corn, kidney beans, roasted peanuts, cereals, cornflakes and chocolate sauce. Bon apetit!  Fall in love with the creamy  and smooth texture of the ice cream. I'm already nuts with the coconuts. Recommended :D Sangkaya Coconut Ice Cream  Lot BE-01 A (opposite Starbucks) Lower Ground Floor Dataran Pahlawan Jalan Merdeka  Banda Hilir 75000 Melaka Malaysia.
