Bunga & Tembok @ Krubong

Image
Assalamualaikum :D I think I have found my new favourite eatery! It was Bunga & Tembok, a new cafe restaurant located at Krubong which served both Arabic and Western cuisines. No matter how many times I come (countless times seriously) , I always fall in love with the food been served here! Inside the restaurant. What's in the menu? Roti Arab garlic (RM6) This Arabic bread was very fluffy and was well spiced with the garlic. Tasted best with chicken curry.  Roti Arab cheese (RM6.50) Grated cheese on top of Arabic bread. Simply yummy!! Lamb biryani (RM9) It was an exquisite dish. The lamb was very tender and the spices of the biryani was great. Lamb grill cheese (RM12.50) I love the taste of the black pepper sauce, it was tasty! Chicken grill cheese (RM11) My favourite :D Grilled chicken and cheese was a great combination. Fish n chips with biryani rice (RM11.50) The thick breadcrumbs of th...

The Pop Cafe / Popdonna @ Bukit Beruang

Assalamualaikum :D I went to a vendor cafe located at Bukit Beruang which is The Pop Cafe. Just like its boutique or known as Popdonna, the cafe also uses the vendor concept in which most shops or potential sellers send their food products to be sold here. This wooden stand was the hallmark to the cafe.  Just go upstairs. I was welcomed with these cool metal plaques hanging on the walls along the stairs.  How it was at the cafe. The drink counter. Guess it was a photo booth background. Or maybe not? Most of the menus were from different vendors so not  everything in the menu would be available. I looked for the food at a shelf near the drink counter  and made an order based on the availability. Boat noodle (RM1.50) Tasty but the portion was too small for a persona to consume. I ate three bowls on my own!! Spaghetti carbonara (RM9) I chose this from the food shelf and the staff there heated i...

Tappers Cafe @ Dataran Pahlawan

Image
Assalamualaikum :D Hanging out at Dataran Pahlawan sometimes left me undecided for what to eat there. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of cafes or restaurants there. It's just that I always want to try something new or something more satisfying. Hehe :D Then I found Tappers Cafe, a new eatery which served both western cuisines and local cuisines based on the influence of Hainanese food. The cafe is owned by Papa Kok Cafe Sdn Bhd and is Halal certified by Jakim.  (The worker there shew me the certificate) It was a two-floor cafe. The concept of the cafe was inspired from Malaysia's colonial heritage so  it's interior was a bit classy and modern. The inside eating area of the 1st floor. The cakes or tarts selection. Outside eating area of the 1st floor. I really fall in love with the interior here! What it looked like at 2nd floor. The magnificent view of A Famosa and other historical buildings from the cafe....
