The signage of the Big Mug Big Plate restaurant always caught my attention whenever I passed through the side street of Taman Tasik Utama. I came here one night knowing the fact that the restaurant closed at 1am on weekends. 


The signage which attracted me to come here.

Just like its name, this restaurant served big mug drinks but there were options for vase drinks also. 
This pineapple and carrot juice in big mugs each costed for RM8.50. 
By the way, please try the pineapple juice!

Lamb shank (RM19.90)
Served with the tomato gravy, this lamb shank was truly a mouth-watering!


Chicken chop (RM13.90)
The barbecue sauce was too thick that made the chicken chop a bit dry.
A bigger portion of coleslaw would be a great help to cover the dryness.


New Zealand beef short ribs (RM22.90)
Simply tasty!!

Teochew porridge (RM7.90)
This rice porridge was served with salted egg, salted kurau fish,
kangkung belacan and sambal.

Assalamualaikum :) Last weekend, I went for iftar with my sister at Black Canyon Restaurant which located at Dataran Pahlawan Megamall. Black Canyon Restaurant owns by a Thai company and there are lots of franchises of the restaurant in several countries including Malaysia. The one that we went just opened early this year. Mawilla Yacht Club Restaurant @ Jalan Tanjung Batu, Labuan

Assalamualaikum :) People assured me to try seafood in Labuan probably due to its cheap price. I came to know about Mawilla Yacht Club Restaurant, which was also recommended by my sister. Mawilla restaurant is located along the beachside, so I was able to enjoy the Labuan's beach view (even it was at night).  The restaurant is  owned by Prospergrow Development  Sdn. Bhd and is claimed to be halal however they serve beer.  The restaurant was spacious!! A lot of crowd came here. There was a huge boat which contained a variety of seafood. The seafood that was available there. The price of the seafood. Satak in black pepper sauce. It was my first time eating satak but I already fall in love with it. Fyi, satak tastes like lobster. Row-Six Restaurant @ Aeon Bandaraya

Assalamualaikum :) One fine day, as my sisters and I were walking through Aeon Bandaraya Melaka for food hunting, a new restaurant so-called Row-Six caught the eyes of the three hungry fellas. Yup, us!! Row Six is a franchise restaurants which serves Southeast Asia meals; Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines. What makes it interesting, it is halal!! Yeah, there was a halal certificate displayed. (Disclaimer: I do not know whether other franchises of Row-Six are halal or not) There is a plenty of menu selection here. What makes the menu interesting is the origin and the spiciness level of each food  is stated. Can you see Malaysian flag up here? Nasi ketuk with chicken rendang, fried onions sauce,sambal,  papaya pickles, spicy spinach, fried egg and fish cracker. (RM16.95) I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS NASI KETUK. There were also other types of nasi ketuk like nasi ketuk  with seafood combo, or with fried kembong fish and many more!
