Yes, I am a pisang goreng fan and would always hunt for them on evenings especially on rainy days. I came to know about Kapten Pisang, a shop at Taman Cempaka Food Court which sells pisang goreng with variety of toppings. Before, my multiple visits to here left me to disappointments as the pisang goreng was always sold out but I smiled the later day after made an early visit. How the shop looked like. You have to make an order at this counter. The selection of toppings include cheese, chocolate, caramel cheese,  chocolate cheese, oreo cheese and cinnamon sugar. More toppings could be chosen when having the pisang goreng here compared than take them home. Mini jumbo (RM10) A set of 12 pieces pisang goreng with four different toppings. I chose these toppings; cinnamon, caramel, cheese and chocolate. I love the generous amo...

Billionaire's Concept Cuisine & Grind Shack @ Taman Lagenda

Assalamualaikum :D I went to both Billionaire's Concept Cuisine and Grind Shack which are two cafes next to each other located at Taman Lagenda, very close to Api Api Steamboat Restaurant.  These two cafes have a concept of two works better than one that the Billionaire's Concept Cuisine serves Western cuisines while the ice cream would be served by the Grind Shack. These two were the great places where people of all ages could came while being treated like billionaires.  Go upstairs to reach the cafes as they were located at the 2nd floor. The menu. There were both indoor and outdoor eating area in the cafe. I chose to eat outdoor and this was the view from the balcony. The outside breeze was great but it would be better if the view was nicer. I love this mural that displayed the three iconic heroes of Malaysia (from left); Mokhtar Dahari, Tun Dr Mahathir and P. Ramlee.  The selection of cakes. Th...

The Pop Cafe / Popdonna @ Bukit Beruang

Image
Assalamualaikum :D I went to a vendor cafe located at Bukit Beruang which is The Pop Cafe. Just like its boutique or known as Popdonna, the cafe also uses the vendor concept in which most shops or potential sellers send their food products to be sold here. This wooden stand was the hallmark to the cafe.  Just go upstairs. I was welcomed with these cool metal plaques hanging on the walls along the stairs.  How it was at the cafe. The drink counter. Guess it was a photo booth background. Or maybe not? Most of the menus were from different vendors so not  everything in the menu would be available. I looked for the food at a shelf near the drink counter  and made an order based on the availability. Boat noodle (RM1.50) Tasty but the portion was too small for a persona to consume. I ate three bowls on my own!! Spaghetti carbonara (RM9) I chose this from the food shelf and the staff there heated i...
