Kapten Pisang @ Taman Cempaka

Banana fritters a.k.a pisang goreng would always be my favourite hello and hardest goodbye. Cewah. Yes, I am a pisang goreng fan and would always hunt for them on evenings especially on rainy days. I came to know about Kapten Pisang, a shop at Taman Cempaka Food Court which sells pisang goreng with variety of toppings. Before, my multiple visits to here left me to disappointments as the pisang goreng was always sold out but I smiled the later day after made an early visit.

You have to make an order at this counter.



The selection of toppings include cheese, chocolate, caramel cheese, 
chocolate cheese, oreo cheese and cinnamon sugar.
More toppings could be chosen when having the pisang goreng here compared than take them home.


Mini jumbo (RM10)
A set of 12 pieces pisang goreng with four different toppings.
I chose these toppings; cinnamon, caramel, cheese and chocolate.
I love the generous amount of toppings, but not for the batter of the pisang goreng.
It still tasted good though :D



With the variety of generous 'real' toppings not just chocolate sauce like what I found most of times,
I know why the pisang goreng was sold out most of the times.

Assalamualaikum :) Last weekend, I went for iftar with my sister at Black Canyon Restaurant which located at Dataran Pahlawan Megamall. Black Canyon Restaurant owns by a Thai company and there are lots of franchises of the restaurant in several countries including Malaysia. The one that we went just opened early this year. Mawilla Yacht Club Restaurant @ Jalan Tanjung Batu, Labuan

Assalamualaikum :) People assured me to try seafood in Labuan probably due to its cheap price. I came to know about Mawilla Yacht Club Restaurant, which was also recommended by my sister. Mawilla restaurant is located along the beachside, so I was able to enjoy the Labuan's beach view (even it was at night).  The restaurant is  owned by Prospergrow Development  Sdn. Bhd and is claimed to be halal however they serve beer.  The restaurant was spacious!! A lot of crowd came here. There was a huge boat which contained a variety of seafood. The seafood that was available there. The price of the seafood. Satak in black pepper sauce. It was my first time eating satak but I already fall in love with it. Fyi, satak tastes like lobster. Row-Six Restaurant @ Aeon Bandaraya

Assalamualaikum :) One fine day, as my sisters and I were walking through Aeon Bandaraya Melaka for food hunting, a new restaurant so-called Row-Six caught the eyes of the three hungry fellas. Yup, us!! Row Six is a franchise restaurants which serves Southeast Asia meals; Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines. What makes it interesting, it is halal!! Yeah, there was a halal certificate displayed. (Disclaimer: I do not know whether other franchises of Row-Six are halal or not) There is a plenty of menu selection here. What makes the menu interesting is the origin and the spiciness level of each food  is stated. Can you see Malaysian flag up here? Nasi ketuk with chicken rendang, fried onions sauce,sambal,  papaya pickles, spicy spinach, fried egg and fish cracker. (RM16.95) I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS NASI KETUK. There were also other types of nasi ketuk like nasi ketuk  with seafood combo, or with fried kembong fish and many more!
