Hadramawt Palace Restaurant @ Bukit Baru

Image
Assalamualaikum :D Hadramwt Palace is a new Arabic restaurant which is located at Bukit Baru. The restaurant is  nicely decorated and promotes Yemeni cuisines thus it gives a good vibe of Yemeni cultures. Indeed it was a palace cause the building was huge!! The outside eating area. The mesmerizing lamp decorations. How did it looked inside. The second floor eating area. Ohh well, there was also a wedding dais. Fyi, you can rent the entire restaurant for your wedding! Lamb kabsa. It was very tasty, I like the spiciness of the tomato sauce and  the smooth texture of the lamb meat. You can choose your portion amount of serving. (S/M/L for RM18/30/55) Shish tawooq (RM16) The taste was nice but it could be better if the food portion was bigger. I miss the tavuk sis I had eaten in Turkey. Hehe Grilled fish fillet (RM17) This one was very yummy :D Jamaica (RM8) It was a combi of pineappple ...

Oz Karadeniz Pide Kebap Solonu @ Fatih, Istanbul

Assalamualaikum :)  My Istanbul's restaurant hunting went on. I went to a restaurant named Oz Karadeniz Pide Kebap Solunu which nearby to  Karadeniz Aile Pide Kebap Solonu . The name themselves are very similar.  The restaurant was certified and recommended by Tripadvisor. The indoor eating area. Meatball casserole (15 TL) Served in hot sizzling bowl with breads.  Mantarli spaghetti (18 TL) Spaghetti with fried mushroom. The taste was very plain and  it was not worth with the price. Try the meatball casserole if you come here. Assalamualaikum :) One of the restaurant that I went in Istanbul was Karadeniz Aile Pide Kebap Solonu (fuhh, such a long name) and, karadeniz means land and sea. It was located at Sultanahmet which was close to the hotel that I stayed in. This restaurant was establish since 1985 and it specialised in making pide which is Turkish pizza. The outside eating area. I love this. The open cook station. This was the 2nd floor. The view from 2nd floor. Ohh well, I saw some random guys came and performed to a group of tourists. Tavuk kanat (16.00 TL) It was a meal consisted of chicken wings, salads and rice. Tavuk sis (16.00 TL) It was a grilled chicken meal. Maybe this was at Istanbul so the food incurred high costs. I could get the same menu with much lower price at Ankara. After all, it was a nice restaurant so recommended. No. 1 Haci Tahsinbey Sokak Alemdar Mahallesi 34122 Sultanahmet Istanbul, Turkey (+90...

Oktay Lokantasi @ Hamamonu, Ankara

Image
Assalamualaikum :) As both my friend and I hunted for food, we were asked by a friendly cook from a restaurant named Oktay Lokantasi to come in. The cook knew about Malaysia and he able to speak English a little which eased our communication. He took our orders and served us with food. He also said that he had an Indonesian friend while showing his friend's picture and asked us "Do you know him?" Lol. By the way, this restaurant opens 24 hours daily and it's speciality is kebab. I saw many customers ordered kebabs for takeaways. It was a corner lot restaurant. Some of the menu available. There were many cooks in the restaurant and each of them had their own cook stations. There were a lot of people ate here. The ambience of this restaurant was like at food court. I found out that most Turkish restaurants served free breads for the customers to eat. One of the cook who worked there, not the one who welcomed us. ...
