Row-Six Restaurant @ Aeon Bandaraya

Image
Assalamualaikum :) One fine day, as my sisters and I were walking through Aeon Bandaraya Melaka for food hunting, a new restaurant so-called Row-Six caught the eyes of the three hungry fellas. Yup, us!! Row Six is a franchise restaurants which serves Southeast Asia meals; Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines. What makes it interesting, it is halal!! Yeah, there was a halal certificate displayed. (Disclaimer: I do not know whether other franchises of Row-Six are halal or not) There is a plenty of menu selection here. What makes the menu interesting is the origin and the spiciness level of each food  is stated. Can you see Malaysian flag up here? Nasi ketuk with chicken rendang, fried onions sauce, sambal,  papaya pickles, spicy spinach, fried egg and fish cracker. (RM16.95) I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS NASI KETUK. There were also other types of nasi ketuk like nasi ketuk  with seafood combo, or with fried kembong fish and many more!

Assalamualaikum :) I always heard about Pak Putra Restaurant but I did not know what it was all about. I always wondered what types of cuisines did it served, and where the restaurant was. And yes, last night my whole family brought me there. All of them had been to the restaurant before and they believed that same goes to me so we had some little arguments there. After soo much recalls, yeah I win. I really never went there! Okay, move on. Pak Putra Restaurant is a good place for having dinner. Being located at Jalan Kota Laksamana, the restaurant served indian and punjabi cuisines. Pak Putra was well known for it's naan breads and tandoori chicken. This was what looks like in front of the restaurant. The restaurant was big as it had two shop lots and there were also outside areas to accomodate customers. The workers were cooking the naan breads in front of the restaurant. There were many types of naan breads  for example cheese naan, garlic naan, butt

Warung Haji Adam @ Alor Gajah

Assalamualaikum :) Today I will bring you to Warung Haji Adam. This small  warung is very fame and highly recommended by my father's friends. It is strategically located opposite to Alor Gajah Hospital. When I first arrived there I wonder what made the warung famous. It was like a typical warung in Malaysia and the place was small. Later I discovered that the warung  was special because of their asam pedas . There were various kind of asam pedas served here such as tetel , ikan kembung, pari and tenggiri . I came here with my family so all of us ordered different kinds of asam pedas meals. Other than asam pedas , people normally order gearbox soup. There were also many other common food choices. This was the menu.  You can see there are many types of asam pedas.   One full set meal of asam pedas (RM7). It was super delicious!!  The meat was very tender and the taste was just right.  Neither too salty or too spicy.  Burnt tofu (RM2)

Rasa Kampung Restaurant @ Cheng

Image
Assalamualaikum :) My family and I went to the Rasa Kampung restaurant, located in Cheng. We went here because it was not far from our house. It was a new restaurant and it was launched early this year by Malacca's ex-chief minister, Datuk Seri Haji Mohd Ali bin Rustam. Rasa Kampung not only serves malay cuisines, it also serves western cuisines. In my opinion, the food served by this restaurant was tasty and reasonably cheap. The menu. Typical fried rice.  Not very special but love that papadoms! Fish and chips. My favourite :) There were also chicken chop and lamb shank. Spaghetti carbonara. Mamak fried mee. Dragon fruit juice with milk. I love dragon fruit juice before but  this drink taste weird . Rasa Kampung also prepares buffet lunch. Some of the interior of the restaurant.  Sorry for the  reflection image. Chic and modern interior. You can eat inside or outside the restaurant.

Halia Inc @ Jalan Merdeka

Assalamualaikum :) My sisters brought me to Halia Inc located at the riverside of Malacca River. The restaurant is strategically located at Malacca Town and promotes Western cuisines which make a lot of tourists came here. The menu revolves around starters & salads, pizza, pasta,  sandwiches & burgers, mains and local cuisines.  There were menus for the drinks and desserts at the back. Lamb shank with basil mashed potato and crispy leeks. (RM49) Peri chicken pizza. The handmade pizza was soo tempting because we ate it while it was hot. (RM24) Besides western cuisine, there were also local Malaysian food  like nasi lemak, nyonya laksa and fried rice. So here was fried rice with  chicken satay, fried egg acar and fish cracker. (RM17) There was no  egg in this picture because I removed the  bursted egg yolk before it ruined my food. Hehe Nasi lemak with chicken rendang, sambal squid,  and steam otak-otak. (RM17)
