Assalamualaikum :D Pastamania is a Singapore-based Italian style restaurant chain. It's first unit in Malaysia is located at the 2nd Level of Getaway in Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2). Now, the second unit is at Pavilion. Pastamania offers Italian cuisines including various pasta menu.  The interior of the restaurant made me felt like I am in Italy. Ciao margherita ! This was so cool! The scoreboard showed how many plates of pasta they served. The sauce and seasonings to enhance the flavour of your meals. The menu. You can choose your pasta type; penne, fusilli, linguine, spaghetti or wholemeal spaghetti. Spaghetti meatballs (RM17.50) The pasta was well cooked, not so chewy. The meatballs were well marinated. I also love the bolognese sauce. Penne carbonara (RM21.10) The creamy carbonara sauce was so tasty! Linguine marinara (RM26.50) This classic marinara sauce contained calamari, mussel, clam and...

Assalamualaikum :D I am always amused with the beautiful cafes, their interiors and beautiful desserts. And my amusement went on when I visited Wondermilk, a cafe located in IOI City Mall. Wondermilk specialises in serving freshly baked cupcakes and Italian brewed drinks. It had evolved since year 2000 and currently has four branches in Malaysia.   This cute yet eye-catchy entrance definitely attracted me to come here! One of the table settings. I love the kufi paintings on the wall <3 Another table settings. There was a play area equipped with montessori materials. No worries to mommies who bring along their children while waiting  for the food to be served. My favourite part of the cafe. So much love for this cute decorations!!! The various flavours of freshly baked cupcakes!! Each for RM4.50.  The prices varied and depended on the amount of cupcakes you bought. Another speciality by Wondermil...

Assalamualaikum :D I went to IOI City Mall for some window shopping and I found Sepiring Restaurant, a restaurant that serves homegrown meals and reflecting uniquely Malaysian roots. Lots of crowd came here. The menu. I love this little details here, an evaporated milk can for putting forks and spoons. Some of the interior in the restaurant. The drink counter. Nasi ulam ayam percik (RM18.78) This nasi ulam consisted of salted egg, ayam percik, serunding and keropok lekor. It was my first time eating nasi ulam and surprisingly it tasted very good. The crunchiness and the spiciness of the ulams blended in with the rice. Now I know why nasi ulam was  my parent's' favourite meal. Nyonya laksa (RM14.29) Using thick rice noodles, shredded steam chicken and prawns, this meal was very flavourful. And I love the fact that the sauce was so creamy. Asam laksa (RM14.29) This asam laksa which also co...

Assalamualaikum :D I brought my mom to Ikea Cheras because she complained that she never been to Ikea and told me how her friends visit to Ikea, what they bought etc. So good daughter mode is on.  Ikea Cheras was just opened last November, and is the biggest Ikea in Malaysia! The location is very strategic, and catches a lot of attention from the public who do not need to go to Damansara. Ikea Restaurant in Cheras which offers the same Swedish menu would definitely captures the heart of Malaysian again. The long queue. Swedish Meatball (RM15) The hearty meal which captures the heart of Malaysian. The meatballs were cooked well and they had tender texture. The taste of the creamy sauce, yummy mashed potato and the  traditional lingonberry jam went well with the them. Yummy :D Baked chicken leg with lemon sauce (RM13.90) Served with mashed potato and pea beans, the meal was really tasty! Almond cake (RM6.30) Free flow of soft ...

Assalamualaikum :D The opening of Mitsui Outlet Park on last 30th May promoted the opening of many business types. Beryl's Chocolate and Cafe is one of them and this would be the first Beryl's Cafe in Malaysia too. I asked the Malay staff there about the halal status of the cafe and it seems everything still in the progress but she assured me that the cafe is halal. I came here with confidence and I was delighted to indulge all the tasty desserts ( fangirling mode for chocolates )! The cafe at the front.  The dining area was further inside the cafe. Some of Beryl's products were also available there. This menu stand would be a great help for customers to know what's in the menu. The classy yet simple interior of the cafe. There were various of chocolate pralines which made of milk, dark and white chocolates. You can choose whichever you want and the staff there would package them nicely in a box. Assorted pralines c...
