Bunga & Tembok @ Krubong

Image
Assalamualaikum :D I think I have found my new favourite eatery! It was Bunga & Tembok, a new cafe restaurant located at Krubong which served both Arabic and Western cuisines. No matter how many times I come (countless times seriously) , I always fall in love with the food been served here! Inside the restaurant. What's in the menu? Roti Arab garlic (RM6) This Arabic bread was very fluffy and was well spiced with the garlic. Tasted best with chicken curry.  Roti Arab cheese (RM6.50) Grated cheese on top of Arabic bread. Simply yummy!! Lamb biryani (RM9) It was an exquisite dish. The lamb was very tender and the spices of the biryani was great. Lamb grill cheese (RM12.50) I love the taste of the black pepper sauce, it was tasty! Chicken grill cheese (RM11) My favourite :D Grilled chicken and cheese was a great combination. Fish n chips with biryani rice (RM11.50) The thick breadcrumbs of th...

Tappers Cafe @ Dataran Pahlawan

Image
Assalamualaikum :D Hanging out at Dataran Pahlawan sometimes left me undecided for what to eat there. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of cafes or restaurants there. It's just that I always want to try something new or something more satisfying. Hehe :D Then I found Tappers Cafe, a new eatery which served both western cuisines and local cuisines based on the influence of Hainanese food. The cafe is owned by Papa Kok Cafe Sdn Bhd and is Halal certified by Jakim.  (The worker there shew me the certificate) It was a two-floor cafe. The concept of the cafe was inspired from Malaysia's colonial heritage so  it's interior was a bit classy and modern. The inside eating area of the 1st floor. The cakes or tarts selection. Outside eating area of the 1st floor. I really fall in love with the interior here! What it looked like at 2nd floor. The magnificent view of A Famosa and other historical buildings from the cafe....

Bob Republic Burger Bakar @ Ayer Keroh

Image
Assalamualaikum :D Bob Republic had created a hit burger phenomenon at Menjalara and Shah Alam. And the phenomena gradually downs to Melaka! Yes, there is a Bob Republic at Taman Muzaffar Heights, Ayer Keroh. The building from outside. The inside eating area. The simple interior creates a great ambience here.  The drink counter. The menu at outside. The menu for burger and ribs. You can choose either the focaccia bun or the charcoal bun. Double glorious (RM15) It was a burger with two beef patties. The bun was a bit small but the taste was still flavourful.  Republic tower (RM21) Just an extra of a beef patty compare than double glorious. Ramen burger (RM11) Instant noodles for burger bun?? This was new for me! However the egg taste was still there which means the bun was slightly uncooked. I still managed to finish it because the sweetness of the sauce masked the egg taste. Grilled chicken c...

The Windmill Station @ Bukit Beruang

Image
Assalamualaikum :) Glad to be able to update my blog. I just completed my final exams. During study break my family brought me to The Windmill Station for our regular eating out together. The Windmill Station (TWS) is a Malaysian franchised restaurant which had been operating since 2000. For 15 years, TWS serves both Western and Malay cuisines. So far, the restaurant franchises are only in Melaka and Negeri Sembilan.  I went to the one at Bukit Beruang which is near to our house. The menu book. The wall was decorated with pictures of windmills. Like usual there were many customers. Siam mee (RM 6.50) Basically it was a fried mee with a lot of chillies.  Fried rice (RM 7.50) Chicken and fish (RM 19.90) A combo of a chicken chop and fish n chips. It was served with fruit salad and coleslaw. My all time favourite, fish n chips! (RM10.80) Lamb chop (RM 15.90) Sparkling blackcurrant (RM5.90) Carrot...
