Tappers Cafe @ Dataran Pahlawan

Assalamualaikum :D
Hanging out at Dataran Pahlawan sometimes left me undecided for what to eat there. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of cafes or restaurants there. It's just that I always want to try something new or something more satisfying. Hehe :D Then I found Tappers Cafe, a new eatery which served both western cuisines and local cuisines based on the influence of Hainanese food. The cafe is owned by Papa Kok Cafe Sdn Bhd and is Halal certified by Jakim. (The worker there shew me the certificate)

It was a two-floor cafe.

The concept of the cafe was inspired from Malaysia's colonial heritage so
it's interior was a bit classy and modern.

The inside eating area of the 1st floor.

The cakes or tarts selection.

Outside eating area of the 1st floor.
I really fall in love with the interior here!

What it looked like at 2nd floor.

The magnificent view of A Famosa and other historical buildings from the cafe.

The menu.

Spaghetti carbonara (RM13.30)
Yummy spaghetti with carbonara cream sauce.

Hainan chicken chop (RM13.90)
The signature dish of the cafe which was a Northern-hainan style
chicken chop served with potatoes and beef.
The sweet sauce was well seasoned, created a new appetizing taste!

Fish n chips (RM12.60)
The tartar sauce was very delicious that I even asked for more. Lol :D
By the way I love the crispiness of the fish, it was well cooked!

Penne olio beef (RM13.90)
It was also one of the signature dish and was a worth try!

From left: Soda Goo Leng Ping Float (RM6.50), Goo Leng Ping RM3.60
The Goo Leng Ping drinks reminded me of sirap bandung.

Apple juice (RM6.90)

Iced chocolate (RM5.30)

Mulberry cooler (RM6.50)
Tasty!

Foodlay!

A very satisfying place for dine out while enjoying the historic view!
Recommended :D

"Hi Tappers is not Halal certified. However, we are pork & alcohol free and all our ingredients are sourced from Halal certified suppliers. Thanks for your enquiry."

can u clarify on the Jakim certificate?
