The Windmill Station @ Bukit Beruang

Assalamualaikum :)
Glad to be able to update my blog. I just completed my final exams. During study break my family brought me to The Windmill Station for our regular eating out together. The Windmill Station (TWS) is a Malaysian franchised restaurant which had been operating since 2000. For 15 years, TWS serves both Western and Malay cuisines. So far, the restaurant franchises are only in Melaka and Negeri Sembilan.  I went to the one at Bukit Beruang which is near to our house.

The wall was decorated with pictures of windmills.


Like usual there were many customers.


Siam mee (RM 6.50)
Basically it was a fried mee with a lot of chillies. 


Fried rice (RM 7.50)


Chicken and fish (RM 19.90)
A combo of a chicken chop and fish n chips.
It was served with fruit salad and coleslaw.


My all time favourite, fish n chips! (RM10.80)


Lamb chop (RM 15.90)


Sparkling blackcurrant (RM5.90)


Carrot juice (RM 4.20) and big-sized watermelon juice (RM 6.90)


Again, juices. This time all three were apple juices
 (RM 4.50/ regular cup)


Ohh well. The dinner turned out to be my surprise
birthday celebration! I was shocked suddenly there 
was a birthday song being played and a waiter 
with a big 23 birthday cake came to me!
Alhamdulillah, I'm being blessed!

It was a great birthday surprise for me. Thanks to the friendly staffs who were helping for the celebration. This restaurants would definitely my choice to dine out again. Recommended :D

Assalamualaikum :) Last weekend, I went for iftar with my sister at Black Canyon Restaurant which located at Dataran Pahlawan Megamall. Black Canyon Restaurant owns by a Thai company and there are lots of franchises of the restaurant in several countries including Malaysia. The one that we went just opened early this year. Mawilla Yacht Club Restaurant @ Jalan Tanjung Batu, Labuan

Assalamualaikum :) People assured me to try seafood in Labuan probably due to its cheap price. I came to know about Mawilla Yacht Club Restaurant, which was also recommended by my sister. Mawilla restaurant is located along the beachside, so I was able to enjoy the Labuan's beach view (even it was at night).  The restaurant is  owned by Prospergrow Development  Sdn. Bhd and is claimed to be halal however they serve beer.  The restaurant was spacious!! A lot of crowd came here. There was a huge boat which contained a variety of seafood. The seafood that was available there. The price of the seafood. Satak in black pepper sauce. It was my first time eating satak but I already fall in love with it. Fyi, satak tastes like lobster. Row-Six Restaurant @ Aeon Bandaraya

Assalamualaikum :) One fine day, as my sisters and I were walking through Aeon Bandaraya Melaka for food hunting, a new restaurant so-called Row-Six caught the eyes of the three hungry fellas. Yup, us!! Row Six is a franchise restaurants which serves Southeast Asia meals; Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines. What makes it interesting, it is halal!! Yeah, there was a halal certificate displayed. (Disclaimer: I do not know whether other franchises of Row-Six are halal or not) There is a plenty of menu selection here. What makes the menu interesting is the origin and the spiciness level of each food  is stated. Can you see Malaysian flag up here? Nasi ketuk with chicken rendang, fried onions sauce,sambal,  papaya pickles, spicy spinach, fried egg and fish cracker. (RM16.95) I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS NASI KETUK. There were also other types of nasi ketuk like nasi ketuk  with seafood combo, or with fried kembong fish and many more!
